E' un telefilm poliziesco (il mio genere preferito), interpretato dall'affascinante Nathan Fillion ma con un pò di ironia, che è quello che lo rende speciale.
Il protagonista, Richard Castle, è un famosissimo scrittore di gialli, che collabora (all'inizio per caso, poi come amico) con un distretto della polizia di New York, ed è nella squadra del Detective Beckett, e con i Detective Ryan e Detective Esposito.

It's a police drama (my favourite kind), played by the "ruggedly handsome" Nathan Fillion, but it also has lots of irony, which is what makes it more special.
The main character Richard Castle, is a famous police novels writer, that cooperates (first casually then as a friend) with NYPD police district, and he's in Detective Beckett's team, along with Detective Ryan and Detective Esposito.

La cosa che apprezzo di più è che Castle porta una visione particolare alle indagini e, spesso, le sue strampalate teorie danno una svolta ai casi sui quali lavorano, anche perchè ha delle "conoscenze" particolari e conosce delle cose strane!
Spesso, poi, la sua disobbedienza agli ordini datigli da Beckett porta a degli arresti.
Una delle cose che mi piace di più è che si è fatto fare un giubotto antiproiettile con la scritta WRITER invece della solita scritta POLICE.

The thing that I appreciate the most is that Castle brings to the investigations a new vision, thanks to his wierd theories, that usually gives the turn to the cases they're working on, also because he knows people and has weird knoledges!
Usually, his disobedience to Beckett's orders brings to arrests.
But one of the things I love the most is that he has customized a bulletproof jacket with the writing WRITER instead of the usual one, POLICE.

Ultimamente, poi, Fede ha comprato i libri scritti da Castle in persona!!! (ovviamente non è proprio lui!!!)
Inutile dire che li ho già letti tutti e 4, e ora aspetto con ansia il prossimo, perchè il finale del quarto libro mi ha lasciata con l'acquolina in bocca!

Lately, then, Fede bought some books written by Castle himself!!! (well, of course not him!!)
Useless to say that I read them all, and I'm waiting patiently for the next one, because the 4th book's ending has left me hanging!

Questi non sono i libri di Fede, mi sono dimenticata di fotografarli, ma ho preso qui la foto.

Sono molto carini, soprattutto perchè alcune scene ricordano quelle viste nelle serie e anche i personaggi dei libri ricordano quelli che vediamo in TV.
Oltrettutto anche le indagini sono ispirate a quelle "veramente vissute" da Castle e compagni, e trovo la cosa molto divertente!
Ve li consiglio vivamente, se vi piace il genere, e non rimarrete delusi nè dalla storia nè dalla scrittura.
Rimane solo un mistero: CHI E' IL VERO AUTORE DEI LIBRI DI CASTLE?!?

They're really nice, most of all because some scenes remind me of some seen in the series and the characters in the books remind me of those seen in TV, too.
Plus, the investigations remind a lot of those "actually lived" by Castle and friends, and think that's really funny!
I vividly suggest you to read them, if you like that kind, and you will not be disappointed, neither by the story nor by the writing.
It remains only one mistery: WHO'S THE REAL CASTLE BOOKS WRITER?!??

THINGS WE LOVE: SHERLOCK HOLMES

Per me non è mai stato un mistero chi Sherlock Holmes fosse, ma non mi sono mai soffermata abbastanza da documentarmi di più.
Il primo passo che ho fatto verso di lui è stato, come per molti (anche se probabilmente lo negherete!!!) con i film con Robert Downey Jr e Jude Law!!!

To me it was never really a mistery who Sherlock Holmes was, but I never stopped to look for more infos.
The first step I did towards him was, as for many of you ( even if probably you'll deny it!!!) with the movies with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law!!!

Ma quando finalmente mi sono messa a guardare la serie tv inglese SHERLOCK della BBC, me ne sono innamorata! A parte il fatto che Benedict Cumberbatch ha il suo fascino, ma è davvero uno Sherlock fantastico, come è fantastico il John Watson di Martin Freeman (che molto probabilmente molti di voi conoscono meglio come Bilbo Baggins nel film Lo Hobbit).

But when I finally decided to watch the english series SHERLOCK from BBC, I fell in love with it! Not to count the charm Benedict Cumberbatch has, but he really is a fantastic Sherlock, as much as Martin Freeman is as John Watson (actor that many of you will know as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit).

Devo ammettere che questa versione di Sherlock più moderna mi piace molto e mi sono convinta, finalmente a comprare i libri. E mi piacciono! Tanto! Tanto che ho già letto Uno Studio in Rosso e sto leggendo Le avventure di Sherlock Holmes. Ora sono in attesa che, appena si ricorda, mia cugina (che lavora in una libreria dove si possono comprare dei libri usati tenuti in buono stato) mi procuri gli altri!!!

Ora devo dire che sono entrata in un'altra fandom, la mia testa è piena di cose che mi piacciono ma sapete che vi dico?!? Chi se ne frega!!!! Ho smesso di preoccuparmi di quello che possono pensare di me gli altri per quello che mi piace da molto tempo!!!!

Mi piace talmente tanto che ho subito guardato che cosa trovavo a tema Sherlock che mi piacesse. Ecco la mia wishlist da Etsy...

I must admit that I really love this modern version of Sherlock and, finally, I decided to buy the books. And I like them! A lot! So much that I already read  A Study in Scarlet and at the moment I'm reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I'm waiting that, as soon as she remembers, my cousin (who works in a library where you can buy second hand book in good condition) gets me others!!!
I must say that I've entered an other fandom, and my head is full of things I like but you know what?!? Who cares!!! I stopped worrying for what the others might think of me for what I like for a very long time!!!
I like it so much that I immediately went looking for something Sherlock themed that I like. Here's my wishlist from Etsy...

Magari la fragranza non è fantastica, ma il fatto che si possa avere l'ispirazione 

per fare delle candele, quindi ricevere dei profumi, dalle storie, 

la trovo una cosa fantastica!

Maybe the smell of it won't be that good, but I think it's nice that you 

can find inspiration to make candle, and to receive 

smells from stories!

Queste sono solo alcune delle cose che ho trovato, altrimenti sarebbe il post più lungo della storia! :)

E voi avete mai avuto questa piccola ossessione come la mia, del cercare degli oggetti riguardanti i libri/film/telefim che preferite?!?

SERIES WE LOVE: GRIMM

Tutti cresciamo sentendo le fiabe, chi più chi meno, soprattutto grazie ai cartoni animati di Walt Disney. Molte di esse sono state scritte dai fratelli Jacob e Wilhelm Grimm.

We all grow up listening to fairy tales, some more some less, mostly thanks to Walt Disney's cartoons. Many of them were written by the Grimm Brothers.

Con questa ispirazione è stata creata la serie TV Grimm, secondo la quale i Grimm erano dei cacciatori di creature, Wesen, come i lupi cattivi, maialini e streghe, che agli occhi della gente comune sono persone normali, mentre sono visibili con il loro vero aspetto solo dai Grimm, quando non hanno controllo sulle loro emozioni.
Il protagonista principale è Nick Burkhardt, un detective della Omicidi di Portland, che inaspettatamente riceve una visita dalla zia che l'ha cresciuto, che gli rivela la sua vera identità e il suo destino. Tra un delitto e una nuova scoperta, Nick si distingue dai suoi antenati cacciando solo i Wesen cattivi e aiutando a tenere nascosta la vera identità dei Wesen buoni e innocui.
Tutto questo grazie all'aiuto di Monroe (un Blutbad), Rosalie ( una Fuchsbau), il suo partner Hank e la sua fidanzata Juliette.

With this inspiration the TV series Grimm was created, according to which the Grimms were creature hunters, Wesens, like the bad wolf, the pigs and witches, that to common people look normal, while the Grimms can see what their real face is, when they have no controll over their emotions.

Sono capitata per caso in questa serie tv quest'estate, quando sono rimasta a dormire da mia sorella, e me ne sono innamorata!
Ora è in onda la terza serie negli USA e appena riesco mi guardo i nuovi episodi in streaming.
Oltretutto trovo che usare come ispirazione per fare un poliziesco le fiabe sia un'idea geniale, che siano dei Grimm o no!!!

I happened randomly in this TV series this summer, when one night I slept at my sister's house, and I fell in love with it!
Now the third season is on air in the USA and as soon as I can I watch the episodes in streaming.
Plus I think that using as inspiration to make a police series the fairy tales is genius, Grimm fairy tales or not!!!

DOCTOR WHO?!?

È la mia serie preferita.

E il post potrebbe chiudersi qui ma mi sembra giusto parlarvene un po’!

Il Dottore è un Signore del Tempo del pianeta Gallifrey. Lui viaggia a bordo del T.A.R.D.I.S. (Time And Relative Dimension In Space) una macchina senziente che è in grado di attraversare lo spazio e il tempo usando il cosiddetto "vortice temporale".

La serie TV è prodotta dalla BBC: le prime stagioni da quella inglese, le nuove da quella Gallese. Il progetto, infatti, è partito nel 1963, è stato abbandonato alla fine degli anni ottanta e poi ripreso prima con un film TV a metà degli anni 90 e poi definitivamente nel 2005.

The Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. He travels with the T.A.R.D.I.S. (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), a sentiet machine that's able to travel through time and space using the so called "time vortex".
The TV series is produced by BBC: the first seasons from the English one, the new ones from the Welsh. As a matter of fact, the project started on 1963, was abandoned at the end of the 80s, started again first with a movie on TV during the 90s then started again in 2005.
