ALL JANE AUSTEN, ALL THE TIME

Come al solito, con le cose on line, io arrivo sempre in ritardo!!!
Ma è meglio se lo racconto dall'inizio:
Qualche settimana fa, in tv hanno fatto il film IL CLUB DI JANE AUSTEN, che parla di un gruppo di donne ( e di un uomo!) che si incontrano una volta al mese per parlare dei romanzi di Jane Austen, ovviamente uno diverso per mese. Alla fine si rendono conto che le loro vite non sono così diverse dalle vite delle quali scriveva la Austen nel 1800, e, come i romanzi, ovviamente le loro storie hanno avuto un HAPPY ENDING.

Maybe I should start from the beginning:
A couple of weeks ago, the aired on tv the movie THE JANE AUSTEN BOOK CLUB, that talks about a group of women (ans one man!) that meet once a month to discuss Jane Austen's novels, one per month. In the end they realize that their lives are not so much different from those wrote by Austen in 1800, and, as the books, their stories had a HAPPY ENDINGS.

Così, dato che già avevo una mezza intenzione di leggermi Orgoglio&Pregiudizio, che non avevo ancora letto ( so già che faccia mi state facendo, la stessa che faccio io quando mi dicono che non hanno mai letto un Harry Potter!!!) e così mi sono decisa! Mentre lo stavo leggendo, stavo dando un'occhiata ad uno dei miei blog preferiti, One Sheepish Girl, e ho visto che anche lei stava rileggendo Orgoglio&Pregiudizio perchè stava guardando su youtube The Lizzie Bennet Diaries!


So, since I already had the half intention to read Pride&Prejudice, which I had not read yet (I already know the faces you're making, the same I do everytime someone tells me that they haven't read Harry Potter!!!) so I decided to do it! While I was reading it, I was peeking in one of my favourite blogs, One Sheepish Girl, and she said that she was re-reading Pride&Prejudice, too, because she was watching on youtube The Lizzie Bennet Diaries!

Ovviamente, quando l'ho scoperto sono andata a vedere ed era praticamente finito!!! Tristezza! Così ho deciso di guardare un paio di video e mi è piaciuto un sacco, anche perchè, come avrete già intuito, è un'interpretazione di Orgoglio&Pregiudizio chiave moderna!!! Se anche a voi piace Jane Austen ve lo consiglio vivamente!!!! E ho dato anche un'occhiata al merchandising ed hanno delle cose mooolto carine!!! Credo che prima o poi mi compreró la tazza!!!

Oltretutto stavo pensando di parlare con voi delle mie impressioni sui libri di Jane Austen, man mani che li leggo!!!

Of course, when I found it out and went to see what it was about it was tecnically over!!!! Sad face!!! So I decided to start watching a couple of videos and I liked it, very much, also because, as you probably already would have guessed, it's a modern interpretation of Pride&Prejudice!!! If you love Jane Austen too I highly recommend it!!!! I did also take a look at their merchandising and they have really nice stuff!!!! I think one day I'll buy the mug!!!

I was also thinking to talk with about my impression of Jane Austen's books, as I read them!!!
