JEWELRY HOLDER DIY

E' già da un pò di tempo che stavo cercando qualcosa dove mia mamma potesse messere i  gioielli che usa di più, perchè li appoggiava solamente sul comò e avevo il timore che perdesse qualcosa. Non ho mai trovato nulla di adatto fino a che ho pensato "Perchè non usare quel piattino che ci è stato regalato a Natale insieme a del pot pourri?!". 

Ecco cosa ho usato: un giornale, delle tempere (io ho usato il bianco), colla spray Bostik, vinavil, forbici, delle immagini (io usato delle foto di Instagram), un vernice protettiva della Stamperia.

I've been wanting for quite some time now something for my mom to put her most used jewelry, because she only put them on the dresser and I feared she might lose something. I've never found anything right for it until I thought " Why not use that little plate that we received for Christmas last year with pot pourri?!".

Here's what I used: a newspaper, some paint ( I used white), Bostik spray glue, vinavil, scissors, some images (I used some of my Instagram pictures), a finish product for glass from Stamperia.

              

Ho spruzzato la colla su tutta la superficie del piatto e ho attaccato le foto e le ho lasciate lì per qualche secondo. Dopo ho mischiato un pò di vinavil con la tempera bianca ed ho spennellato tutto il piatto. Ho lasciato asciugare per un paio d'ore e ho dato un'altra mano di colore. Una volta asciutto ho dato una passata con la vernice protettiva e ho lasciato asciugare.

I sprayed the glue on the plate's surface and I attached the pictures and left them there for a couple of seconds. Then I mixed some vinavil with some white paint and brushed the whole thing. I let it dry for a couple of hours and then I brushed it again. Once if was fully dryed, I brushed some finishing product and let it dry.

E voilà! Che ne dite?! Mia mamma è stata molto contenta!!!

And voilà! What do you say?! My mom was really happy!!!
