Until today there was, at GAM, the exhibition of Renoir's paintings, right from Musée d'Orsay. We went to see it last week and we left home very early and when we got there there was already a long line!!!
Mentre aspettavamo ho scattato qualche foto alle opere che si possono ammirare fuori, come quell'albero nella foto in alto!
Devo dire che, nonostante storia dell'arte fosse una materia che amavo a scuola, non avevo molti ricordi delle opere di Renoir e sono rimasta sorpresa di quanti dipinti mi sono piaciuti. Questi sono alcuni ( le foto le abbiamo prese on line perchè dentro il museo non si possono fare!)
While we waited I snapped some pics to the works that you can normally see on the outside, like that tree on the first picture!
I must say that, even if history of art was one of my favourite subjects in school, I had very little memory of Renoir's works and I was pleased when I saw the paintings how many I liked. These are some of them ( it was prohibited to snap pictures in the museum so we got them on line!)
