Un paio di anni fa, mentre tornavo a casa dalla libreria in cui lavoravo, ho visto dei libri destinati al macero, quindi ne ho "salvati" qualcuno e me li sono portati a casa, in attesa che vi venisse in mente che cosa farci.
Dato che a casa nostra il telefono vive sul pavimento da quando è stato installato ho deciso di fare un tavolino con questo libri.
A couple of years ago, when I was coming home from the library I was working in, I saw some books meant to be destroyed so I "saved" some of them and brought them home with me, waiting for something to do with them to come to my mind.
Since our landline phone was sitting on the floor from the first day it has been installed I thought I'd do a little book with these books.
Per questo progetto vi serviranno: libri,acqua, colla vinilica, spray bianco, spray dorato, pennello, colla a caldo.
The things you will need will be: books, water, all purpose glue, white spray, golden spray, paintbrush, hot glue gun.
Con la colla vinilica e un goccino di acqua mescolati insieme, incollate le pagine insieme usando un pennellino. Una volta fatto, metteteli da parte con qualcosa di pesante sopra, in modo che li aiuti ad incollarsi meglio, e lasciateli lì almeno per una giornata.
Una volta che vi siete assicurati che le pagine sono attaccate l'una all'altra, guardate in che modo mettere i libri l'uno sull'altro, e dopodichè incollate i libri con la colla a caldo.
Una volta asciugati, proteggendo l'ambiente in cui state lavorando, usate la bomboletta spray bianca come primer sul "tavolino". Se serve date una seconda mano di colore. Io ho dato anche una terza mano!!!
Una volta asciugato, usate la bomboletta spray dorata.
With a mixture of all purpose glue and a bit of water (just a bit!!) glue the books pages together using a little paint brush. Once done, put them aside with something heavy on, so that it will help them to glue really good, and leave them there for at least a day.
Once you're sure the books are good, find a way that suits you to put the books in a pile, then glue them with a hot glue gun.
Once they've dried, protecting the environment you're working in, use the white spray as a primer on this "table". If you need it give it a second hand. I even did a third!!!
Once dryed, use the golden spray (as many times as you need it).
