FEDDY'S LITTLE URBAN GARDEN

Non so se vi ricordate, ma già l'anno scorso ho iniziato a mettere alla prova il mio pollice verde e devo dire che sono stata abbastanza soddisfatta, dato che la mia pianta ha continuato a fare pomodorini fino ad Ottobre, quando faceva già un pò freschetto.
Quest'anno ho comprato 5 piante di pomodori, alcune di tipi diversi, due piantine di fragole e molte piante di erbe aromatiche! In più, dietro ai garage c'è un piccolo orticello di un ragazzo che conosciamo e ci ha dato due piantine che aveva fatto crescere lui di pomodori cuori di bue.
Lasciatemelo dire, il balcone profuma un sacco!!!
Sto ancora aspettando che cresca qualcosina, soprattutto non vedo l'ora di avere qualche fragolina, ma adoro anche il fatto che se vogliamo aggiungere dei gusti ai piatti che prepariamo non dobbiamo necessariamente andare a comprarli!

I don't know if you remember but I started last year to test my green thumb, and I was quite satisfied with it since my cherry tomatoes kept growing until October, when it was already a bit chilly.
This year I bought 5 tomatoes plants, different kinds, two little plants of strawberries and lots of herb plants! Plus, behind the garages there's a little garden belonging to a boy we know and he gave us two beefsteak tomato plants he grew.
I'm telling you, my balcony smells so good!!!
I'm still waiting to see if something wil grow, I'm actually eager to see some strawberries, but I love that we have some flavour right here, and we don't need to buy any!

Per il momento stanno crescendo un sacco di fiori di fragola, e sono bellissimi, e stanno facendo capolino dei pomodori!!! Sono troppo felice! Ovviamente di tutto ciò mangeremo ben poco, dato che ad Andrea piace raccogliere i pomodori e gli piacerà prendere anche le fragole. Beh, anche questo fa parte dell'essere zia! :-D

At the moment some strawberry flowers are growing, and they're beautiful, and some tomatoes are coming too!!! I'm so happy! Of course, we'll eat very few of these things, since the Kid loves to pick tomatoes and of course he'll love picking strawberries as well. Well, that too is being an auntie! :-D

Le piantine aromatiche sono su degli sgabellini comprati da IKEA, uno con più spazio (mi dispiace non ricordo il nome, ma è costato solo 15€!) e questo piccolo sgabellino. Sono molto comodi e occupano poco spazio!

The herbs are on little stools I bought at IKEA, one with more space (sorry, I can't remember its name, but I know it costed only 15€!) and this little stool. They're very nice and take very little space!
