DIY INFINITY DRESS

Una delle cose più difficili da fare quando devo andare ad un matrimonio è scegliere il vestito da mettere. Ora che sono incinta è ancora più difficile!!
Ho visto diverso tempo fa un vestito su questo sito canadese, ma il prezzo del vestito più quello della spedizione è davvero troppo, non solo per me ma credo per qualsiasi persona con un pò di buon senso!
Ad ogni modo non mi sono arresa, ho fatto delle ricerche e ho deciso di farlo da me, e devo dire che il risultato non è poi così male.

One of the hardest things to do when you go to a wedding is the choice of the dress you're gonna wear.
And now that I'm pregnant it's even harder!!
I saw some time ago a dress on this canadian website, but the price of dress plus the one of the shipment is really way too much, not just for me but I think for everyone in their right mind!
Anyway, I did not give up, did some research and decided to do it by myself, and I must say that the result is not that bad.

Ho fatto il modello della gonna a ruota e dopo, con l'aiuto di Fede, abbiamo tagliato la stoffa e iniziato ad assemblare il tutto, imbastendo e cucendo. Purtroppo per me risultava un pò largo quindi ho deciso di mettere l'elastico nell'orlo superiore della gonna.

I made the skirt pattern and then, with Feddy's help, we cut the fabric and started to assemble it all, basting and sewing. Unfortunately for me it was a bit too large, so I decided to put some elastic in the superior hem.

Ho avuto qualche dubbio durante la lavorazione e ho pensato che per come è venuto non è molto adatto ad un matrimonio.
Così ho trascinato Fede da H&M e ho trovato due vestiti molto carini, spendendo un totale di 60€. Non ho ancora deciso quale indossare domani, sceglierò sul momento.
Ma tornando all'infinity dress, nonostante non sia una sarta e non sia molto brava a cucire non è venuto malaccio! Di sicuro lo indosserò spesso per l'estate!!! Ale

I had some doubt along the way and I thought that, for how it turned out, it was not that much good for a wedding.
So I dragged Feddy at H&M and found two dresses really cute, spending just 60€ for two. I still haven't decided what I'm gonna wear tomorrow, I'll pick at the moment.
Back to the infinity dress, even if I'm not a seamstress and that I'm not that good at sewing it didn't come out that bad! I'll definetely wear it all summer!!! Ale
