Now that you saw it (and more importantly Fede saw it) I can tell you how I made this beautiful gift. I found it on Pinterest ( of course) and found out that was from this Etsy shop, but since the shop is no more active I had to make it on my own!!!
I must confess I had so much fun!!
Per realizzare questo regalo sono serviti: un pannello di legno della misura e dello spessore desiderati ( fatto da un marito con la passione della falegnameria o un falegname di fiducia), vernice spray bianca, 2 cornici 15x18 cm ( io le ho comprate da Tiger), pennarello in acrilico blu, ganci per cornici.

To make this gift I used: a wooden pannel of the measure and the thickness you prefer ( done from an Husban who loves carpentry or from a carpenter you trust), white spray paint, 2 frames 15x18 cm (I bought them from Tiger), an acrylic blue marker, frames hooks.
Per prima cosa ho impostato il tutto in un file Word per avere una visione di quello che sarebbe stato più o meno il risultato finale. Poi ho comprato tutti i materiali e mi sono messa al lavoro.
Ovviamente se trovate il pannello della misura giusta è meglio ma visto che della misura che serviva a me erano troppo spessi ho preferito comprarne uno più grande che poi il Marito ha provveduto a tagliare.
Eseguito il taglio ha anche passato la carta vetro sui bordi e l'ha verniciato e attaccato i ganci da cornice. Sono servite tre mani per avere un fondo ben colorato!
Ovviamente se trovate il pannello della misura giusta è meglio ma visto che della misura che serviva a me erano troppo spessi ho preferito comprarne uno più grande che poi il Marito ha provveduto a tagliare.
Eseguito il taglio ha anche passato la carta vetro sui bordi e l'ha verniciato e attaccato i ganci da cornice. Sono servite tre mani per avere un fondo ben colorato!
E qui si è presentato il primo problema: io avevo impostato il file in verticale ma mio marito ha attaccato i ganci in modo che il risultato fosse in orizzontale, così ho dovuto modificare il file e mettere le cornici in un'altra direzione!
Ho fatto stampare il file in modo da avere un modello a scala reale e poi ho semplicemente ricopiato la scritta, prima a matita leggera e poi l’ho ripassato con il pennarello acrilico.
Successivamente ho preso le misure per centrare le cornici, ho inserito le foto e …voilà!
Spero vi piaccia quanto è piaciuto a me (e anche a Feddy!)
First of all I layed it out in a Word file to have a general vision of the final work. Then I bought the materials and started to work.
Of course if you find the right size board it's better but since the size I needed it to be were too thick I preferred to buy a bigger one and have it cut by the Husband.
Once the board was cut I used the sand paper on the edges, painted it and attached the hooks. I had to use three hands of paint to have it the right colour!
And here started the first problem: I projected the file to have it vertical but my Husband attached the hooks so that the result would be orizzontal, so I had to modify the file and put the frames in an other direction!
I had the file printed so that I could have a model in real scale and then copied the writing, fist lightly with a pencil and then with an acrylic marking pen.
Then I took the measures to hang the frames, inserted the pics and...voilà!
