Così quest'anno ho deciso di farlo io il regalo, senza comprarlo, perchè pensavo vi avrebbe dato più soddisfazione!
E così è stato!!!
Making gifts for my cousins is really hard, because they already have everything!!!
So this year I decided to create one by myself, without buying it, because I thought it would have satisfied me more!
And it did!!!
Le cose di cui avrete bisogno sono: carta modello, feltro di diversi colori, forbici, ago, filo, bottoni, taglierina per stoffa.
The things you'll need will be: pattern, different colours felt ( I used this blue and then lilac and violet) scissors, needle, threads, buttons, cutting tool for fabric.
Prima di tutto ho preso le misure dal sito della Apple e ho fatto un cartamodello, che ho usato come guida per tagliare il feltro blu. Prima di tagliare ho aggiunto qualche cm perchè mia cugina usa la cover, per una maggiore protezione dello schermo.
Prima di cucire le due parti di feltro blu insieme, nella parte frontale ho cucito un fiorellino semplicemente creando dei petali e un cerchietto.
Poi ho aggiunto la chiusura, fatta con il feltro blu, al quale ho attaccato il bottone a pressione all'interno e un bottone carino all'esterno.
Alla fine ho cucito le due parti insieme a mano, ma voi se volete potete farlo con la macchina da cucire.
First of all I took all the measures from the Apple website and made a pattern, that I used as a guide to cut the blue felt. Before cutting I added some cm more because my cousin uses the cover, for a better protection for the screen.
Before sewing the two parts together I, on the frontal part I sewed a little flower just making petals and a little round.
Then I created the closure with the blue felt, to which I attached the snap fastener on the inside and a cute button on the outside.
Then I hand stitched the two parts together, but if you want you can do it with the sewing machine.
Mi è piaciuto molto creare questo progetto anche se alla fine ero leggermente frustrata perchè temevo che fosse troppo piccolo. Invece era perfetto!
