A CUTE ALTERNATIVE TO PLACE HOLDERS

Per il suo matrimonio mia cugina ha deciso di non mettere i segnaposto, ma voleva ad ogni modo fare qualcosa di carino. Così abbiamo trovato quest'idea carina. Creare questi cuoricini con la carta, e con i semi dentro, da piantare e far nascere dei fiori.

For her wedding my cousin decided to not put placeholders, but she wanted to do something cute anyway. So we found this nice idea. To create little hearts with paper, and seeds within, to plant and have flowers to grow.

Per questo vi serviranno: strisce di carta ( tanta carta!!!), acqua, mixer, semi di fiori, formine di silicone.

For this you'll need: paper stripes ( lots of paper!!!), water, mixer, flower seeds, sylicone molds.

E' molto semplice: mettete un pò di carta nel mixer e un pò d'acqua. Non preoccupatevi se la carta si incastra attorno alle lame, è normale. Ogni tanto fermatelo e sistematelo con le mani.

It's really easy: put a bit of paper and water into the mixer. Don't worry if the paper gets a bit stuch on the blades, it's normal. You just need to stop it and fix it with your hands.

E' normale che diventi un pò liquido, ma non troppo, mi raccomando!
Quando lo tirate fuori dal mixer fate in modo che perda un pò d'acqua schiacciandolo dentro un colapasta.

It's normal if you see it's becoming a bit liquid, but not too much, all right?
When you take it off the mixer let it lose some water pressing it into a colander.

Prendete poi qualche manciata e unite i semi, metteteli nelle formine e lasciate asciugare.
Farlo non richiede molto tempo, la cosa lunga e l'asciugatura: più o meno 3 giorni.

Take a bit of the mix and add the seeds, put them in the molds and let it dry.
To do it all doesn't take much time, the long thing is the drying: 3 days, more or less.

E' un processo lungo, ma ne vale la pena.
