Questo libro mi è piaciuto davvero tanto, ma all'inizio ho avuto difficoltà. Mi è stato regalato quando facevo le elementari, l'ho iniziato molte volte ma non sono mai andata oltre le 50 pagine!
Poi un giorno, non troppo tempo fa, ho deciso di riprovare e me lo sono divorato!!
Questa è la storia di 4 sorelle ( Maggie, Jo, Amy e Beth March) e le segue per molti anni: prima le vede alle prese con la povertà dovuta alla guerra civile Americana, poi alle prese con i primi "scontri" con l'altro sesso, a partire dal loro nuovo vicino e poi caro amico, Laurie, in seguito durante la convalescenza del padre, ferito in guerra, e altre esperienze che fanno più o meno parte della vita di tutti.
I really loved this book althought at first I had some difficulties with it. It was gifted to me when I was in the elementary school, I started it many times but I never went over the 50 pages!
Then, one day, not much ago, I decided to try it again and I read it in a heartbeat!!
This is the story of 4 sisters (Maggie, Jo, Amy and Beth March) and it follows them for many years: first dealing with the poverty brought by the American civil War, then with the first "encounters" with the other sex, starting with their new neighbour and then dear friend Laurie, then with their father's convalescence after beign hurt in the fight, and other experiences that, more or less, are part of everyone's life.

La storia è davvero molto bella perchè fa un ritratto particolare dell'epoca e racconta come le famiglie "medie" affrontavano la mancanza del capofamiglia durante un periodo difficile come la guerra.
È una delle letture che consiglio soprattutto a chi ama le "saghe familiari" e a chi è un inguaribile romantico.
Hanno fatto anche diversi film ma i più famosi sono due, il primo nel 1949 con l'indimenticabile Elisabeth Taylor, nel Ruolo di Amy, e il secondo nel 1994, con Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst e Claire Danes. In più potete ritrovarvi un Christian Bale giovanissimo nei panni di Laurie!!!

It's definetely one of the reading I suggest most of all to those who love "family sagas" and to those who are hopelessly romantic.
They even made many movies but the more famous are two, the first shot in 1949 with the unforgettable Elisabeth Taylor, who played Amy, and the second one in 1994, with Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst and Claire Danes. And you can even find a super young Christian Bale, playing Laurie!!!
Oltretutto, una delle più belle proposte di matrimonio della letteratura è contenuta in questo libro, ed è quella che Laurie fa ad Amy.

Oltretutto, una delle più belle proposte di matrimonio della letteratura è contenuta in questo libro, ed è quella che Laurie fa ad Amy.
Questo è proprio un libro che rimane nel cuore, quindi se non lo avete mai letto (come avete fatto a non averlo mai letto!!!!!) andate subito a prendere una copia, scaricatela digitale, non importa come ma il mio consiglio non può essere nient'altro che LEGGETELO!!

Plus, one of the best marriage proposal of literature is kept in this very book, the one that Laurie makes to Amy.
It's a book that remaines into your heart forever, so if you've never ever read it (how could you not have read it!!!) go fetch a copy to a library, download a digital one, it doesn't matter how, but my advice is nothing but READ IT!!
